About this translation
This document is an English translation provided for information only. Mindpera's binding legal text is the Turkish version published on this site, and in the event of any discrepancy the Turkish text prevails.
The notice was drafted under Turkish Law no. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). KVKK and the GDPR do not correspond article for article; references here are to the Turkish statute.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a website. Cookies help a site recognise you and remember your preferences.
In this policy the word cookie also covers technologies that work in a similar way, such as local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage).
2. Our site uses no cookies
Our site writes no cookies to your browser. Page visits are counted in aggregate by a statistics service that uses no cookies or local storage (OpenPanel); no technology is used for advertising, remarketing or tracking. For that reason no cookie consent is requested.
Your browser may hold only the two functional records listed in the table below, created when you use a button or a list on the site.
3. Records your browser may hold
These records stay in your browser only; they are not sent to our server or anywhere else, and they do not identify you.
| Record | Technology | Purpose | When it is created | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| mindpera-tema | Local storage | Remembers the appearance (light or dark) you chose with the theme button. | Only if you use the theme button | Until you delete it |
| blog-rail | Session storage | Keeps the horizontal scroll position of the blog list when you return to it from an article. | Only if you scroll the blog list | Deleted when the tab is closed |
4. Records left by earlier versions
Before 2 October 2026 our site used advertising measurement (Google Ads); that service has been removed.
If Google advertising cookies (names beginning with _gcl_) or the old cookie preference record (mind-consent) remain in your browser from an earlier visit, they are deleted automatically when you visit our site.
5. Managing them in your browser
You can delete or block the records above and any other site data in your browser settings at any time. If you block them, only your theme choice and the position in the blog list are not remembered; the rest of the site is unaffected.

- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data.

6. Policy updates and contact
We update this policy when the technologies used on our site change. The current text is always published on this page with the last update date.
